She had hung so many of your drawings up on the walls and fridge, you were surprised there was even still room for more. She read you to sleep every night, something you’d dearly missed once your younger siblings had come around, even if you might be a little too old for it now. You knew you should feel excited or happy that you’d finally be able to see your family again, but it turns out Granny Wendy really did give you the affection you’d been craving. The next day, your father would be flying to London to pick you up. It was the last day of your London vacation. There would be no little toddlers to distract her, you’d finally get your chance to enjoy some much needed attention and affection. At least Granny Wendy would pay attention to you. Now they could give all their attention to Jack and Maggie without you distracting them. It’s not often you get to visit London.” She explained, leaning back in her seat and closing her eyes. We thought a little vacation would do you well. “We can tell you’re getting frustrated by Jack and Maggie. Why can’t I just stay home with you and dad?” You asked, looking out the window at all the clouds as they passed by. I thought you really enjoyed visiting Granny Wendy.” Your mother looked down at you as the two of you sat on the plane to London. You snorted slightly, shutting the book and sliding it back onto your bedside table. You tried to imagine yourself traipsing with Lost Boys, swimming with mermaids and valiantly sword fighting Captain Hook. “I bet in Neverland I wouldn’t be ignored or bothered while I’m working.” You grumbled, slightly annoyed as you flicked through the brightly coloured pages, trying to picture what it’d be like to visit Neverland. Later that night, you lie awake, long after your parents had gone to sleep, lamp on and studying the drawings in one of your favourite picture books you still held onto from when you were much smaller. Standing, you hurried to complete the task that had been assigned to you and return to your drawing before the muse you had disappeared for good. “Can I just-” You began, but seeing the look of pure annoyance and utter exhaustion on your father’s face, you sighed. You looked up from the drawing you had been trying to finish for hours. “(Y/n)! Can you please pass me Jack’s bear from the toy room.” Your father poked his head out of your younger siblings shared bedroom. When it was just you, your mom and your dad. Before they’d practically ruined your life by driving your parents crazy, ripping up some of your favourite art pieces. Before little Maggie and Jack had been born.

Now, two siblings later and you wished you could return to how things used to be.

You used to lay awake in bed, thrilled about what your new little sibling would be like. You’d have more people to play with, you could help out, teach them exciting new things. Who wouldn’t? Your parents had sold it to you so well. I’ll post part two tomorrow! I hope this is okay anon! Thanks for giving me this intense spark of inspiration! Enjoy part one!īeing the oldest sibling sucked. In the next part, our favourite pirate is going to introduce himself to reader and our favourite Lost Boy, Rufio is going to do some heroics. I’m simply setting the reader’s life up and describing how she comes to Neverland. The first part lacks Rufio (I know but bear with me). That’s because this Rufio request has inspired me enough to make this into a two parter.

Thank you!!!Ī/N: So you might’ve noticed the part one in the title and the lack of a gif. Request: Okay, so what I was thinking, in Hook there’s this guy Rufio and I was thinking that maybe the reader would be Peter Pan’s daughter and she somehow ends up in Neverland and the reader is like super shy and loves to paint/draw? You’ll know what I’m talking about when/if you watch the movie.
